World's first isocyanate free spray foam

Soudal, the Belgian manufacturer of specialty chemicals for the construction industry has been at the forefront of PU spray foam innovations for the last 2 decades.

With Soudafoam SMX, Soudal launches a world novelty: the first expanding foam without isocyanates (tested by SP Sweden). Consequently, this new spray foam is completely harmless to both consumers and the environment. Meanwhile the product retains all advantages of a classic polyurethane foam. It easily fills gaps with an expanding, semi rigid insulating foam. It is an ideal time saver when installing doors and windows.

Unlike classic PU foams, Soudafoam SMX is entirely based on new SMX technology. SMX technology is a hybrid silane terminated polymer technology which by its versatility and un-paralleled performance opens a whole new range of high performance environmentally friendly products.
