Soudaglatt is a flexible joint smoothening tool made from a special plastic for the tooling of sealant joints. The specially developed tool edges enable the fast and easy tooling required to achieve perfectly smooth connection - and high movement joints. Excess sealant is removed in one quick movement.
Application Instructions:
Fill the joint with the required sealant, respecting the prescribed joint preparation and joint dimensions.
Always keep Soudglatt Moist, preferably in a soapy solution.
Choose the preferred joint profile and tool the joint, applying light pressure.
Remove excess sealant from the Soudaglatt tool before curing
If required, tape joint edges with masking tape to achieve straight joint edges. Remove the tape after the tooling of the joint and before the sealant cures.
